Demographics space disillusionment of COVID-19 realities

I want to make a reference to the inspiration of this article. His name is Dr. John Campbell. He can be found on YouTube. I happily found him at the beginning of our pandemic.

March 2020, A team of co-workers and I had just flown home from Europe. (We heard about Tom Hanks and his wife getting the Covid-19 virus in Australia and happy they came home safe.)

Dr. Campbell has integrity. If he finds out that any of the information he has shared is not true…… he apologizes and carries on. He is extremely intelligent with an ‘old school approach’ and likes to communicate in a style mainly using graphs. (After all he is a Dr;)
He uses facts with original information posted, validating the source.
Once in a while I see him make a comment with a very small ‘biased frame.’
He has never been racist, and remember there is a big difference between biased and racist.
(We all have our own bias but we are not all racist.)
I wanted to share this information and encourage you to look him up. If you want to know the realities of this pandemic, globally, in a straightforward style, Look him up.
If your curious to know the percentages locally demographically, look him up.
If you want truth regarding death tolls and the reality of this pandemics current state as well as information about a variety of studies and the progress toward a vaccine… look him up.

In other words, if you want to know about How demographics space disillusionment of COVID-19 realities….look him up!

Thank you for stopping by:)

Dear Nanny/Manny…The Face Mask Dropped

The face mask dropped and I don’t mean the kind we use for Covid-19. If you work with children let me start off by saying thank you. You are on the front lines helping the leaders of tomorrow and I applaud you. Every time I fly on a commercial airline there is a routine that takes place while we are waiting to take off. The routine involves the cabin crew checking to see if all passengers are safely buckled and luggage is secure. Once that is done they give a quick safety presentation. This presentation tells us what to do if the face mask has dropped. Most people I know don’t like being told to put on the face mask before helping a child or person sitting next to them. This is hard to think about doing until you understand why.

If the face mask has dropped then you are in need of oxygen. If you do not put on the face mask first then pass out …what good are you to anyone?

In that type of situation I would put on the face mask first because I understand it’s the only way to help anyone. Another way to say the same thing is that you have to help yourself first to be able to help anyone. One more way to say this is if you don’t help yourself first you cant help anyone.

Even if you decide not to do this for yourself, from the bottom of the hierarchy upwards, your basic human needs include & involve: physiological, safety, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualization.

The point I’m blogging to make with a word picture is to remind all the nannies and mannies to live as if the face mask has dropped. Please take care of yourself first so you can help the children. If this sounds like something you needed to hear, Im guessing your thoughts of ‘easier said than done.’ The Best Nanny Coach is designed to help you because you help others. Also, 99.9% of the time, the best nanny or manny I have ever met has always done something for someone other than themselves first. Take a moment to read the 5 areas of  Maslow’s theory in psychology of human needs and think about how they apply to you.
